Susanne Duato specializes in helping people reach optimal health and wellness through a broad & integrated approach in an effort to create life-long, healthy habits for her clients that don't simply start and end with diet and exercise. Susanne is a Nutritionist; Certified Personal Trainer and CrossFit level I&II Coach. Partnering in 2012 to open her own fitness facility CrossFit110. Her fitness facility gained growth and recognition being voted into the Chelmsford Hall of Fame as Best Fitness Facility for 3 consecutive years 2015, 2016 & 2017. In 2016 she co-founded Thrive Health & Wellness Inc. in 2016 to provide health & wellness services to a broader population.
Susanne lives with her husband and 3 Children in Massachusetts. She enjoys cooking, reading, learning, exercising, cycling and walking in the New England woods with her dog Tucker.
Through our vast experience counseling and guiding clients, we understand that achieving optimal health and wellness comes from a broader approach than what our industry typically provides. We believe that to focus on one or two areas of our health; such as diet and exercise at the exclusion of other areas will not elicit the best results. The best results are achieved when we are intrinsically motivated. When we are guided and mentored through positive goal setting. When we are nurtured in a strong and supportive environment. When we believe we have the ability to be successful and when we build the confidence to push past our limiting beliefs.
Like the stacked stones found on beaches and landmarks, our Thrive Health & Wellness challenge seeks to show that there is synergy that comes from the collective arrangement, each relying on the other for optimal strength and longevity. The combined effect of this balanced approach delivers greater health to an individual than the results from each of the separate parts. Yet like the stacked stones, when one aspect is not in alignment, the entire structure is at risk of toppling. Therefore, if you are not truly motivated or feeling supported toward reaching your goals your “structure” is likely to become unstable, and the health you set out to achieve will suffer.
Our Thrive Health and Wellness Challenge will help you define why your health is important to YOU. It will provide the lens to which you will evaluate your current health and actionable ways to change your relationship with food and create lifelong healthy habits. I want this book to be very simple and easy to read with pictures and graphics to help ease the content on each page. I want it to be used as a resource and something than can be read cover to cover but also read in parts or the individual chapters can be a guide when needed. I don't want the content to be daunting - a flow for any reader who doesn't have a lot of time but wants to get to the meat of the material and content.
I love the Whole30 Program http://www.whole30.com - I couldn't attach anything but the basic program template is one I really like. I also like her style of riding which is easy going and conversational.
