Active Listening is a communication style that has the listener actively participate in the conversion, not just sitting quietly and listening/hearing what is said. The book trains readers to effectively engage speakers to elicit more information, confirm understanding and build stronger relationships through better conversations.

The cover should stand out and be eye-catching. The design should look professional without being academic or boring. "Active" is in the title, so it would be good for the cover to express this in some way. Communication is a key element of the content of the book, so it would be good to have this expressed too, either literally or as a visual metaphor.

A plain white background should be avoided so it can stand out in the Amazon marketplace, however if the design is bold enough the white background might be ok. Designs that do not require purchasing additional image rights will be preferred.
