A few comments.
The font used within the book for chapter titles, page headers, and chapter sections is Copperplate Gothic if it works with your design.
The design project is for a perfect bound 5.5 x 8.5 book cover. Page count will be approximately 345 pages after final formatting for spine width. We will supply back cover content after the initial selection round and ISBN code scan to the finalist. Just provide some space for now. The front cover will also be utilized for ebooks and we will need the winner to provide those formats.
Finally, the use of royalty free images are not prohibitive, but our final selection criteria will prefer original content over their use.
We appreciate your interest in this project and look forward to the design solutions presented. If you have any questions along the way, feel free to ask and we would be happy to direct you down the right path.
::Back cover synopsis::
For millenniums, every generation has raised their heads to the sky in amazement while trying to make sense of their place in the universe. Humanity may have initially thought they were the focal point, watching the sun, moon, and stars circle their position, but through technological advancements, we have come to learn our planet is but a drop of water in an ocean of galaxies. Our generation now fully understands how insignificant we really are against the vastness of space.
However, are we truly insignificant, or the preeminent importance of everything?
We may feel small as an individual against the backdrop of seven-billion people across the globe, but is this the truth or a lie?
Is it possible that humans are monumentally important where an unseen battle literally rages for every life?
Obviously, war has existed over the entire course of history, but something unexplainable is happening throughout the world that is difficult to identify. Conflicts in the traditional sense between warring nations have now spilled over into the streets amongst the citizenry. One cannot turn on the television or pick up a paper without noticing a significant percentage of reporting is dedicated to conflicts in one form or another. Riots, rebellions, and revolutions are not only commonplace, but rapidly intensifying year-over-year.
This begs the question, “Where is mankind headed?”
Are you prepared for the truth?
