Ted Levy is the pseudonym of a retired radiologist with special interest in the American criminal justice system. This is his first novel.
First novel effort by a retired physician. One sentence-summary: Imagine The Count of Monte Cristo set in 21st century America, condemning the US criminal justice system. About 450 pages in manuscript, about 165K words. Contact me if you desire a more detailed [ 2-3 pages ] plot synopsis.
People who enjoy light fiction, fast-paced writing, libertarian politics, political fiction, the revenge genre, issues related to the current US criminal justice system. I'd guess the audience would be M > F, college > HS grads; mid to higher income levels.
I'm not sure yet what Amazon CreateSpace is. My current plan is to offer Kindle Direct Publishing exclusive distribution/publication rights.
I described a possible idea for front cover art above, and also a brief plot synopsis. I want cover art/illustration that creates excitement, that promises a fast-paced and fun reading adventure. The plot contains elements of violence, including rape and murder, has clear white hats vs black hats, and a traditional "happy ending," but with twists along the way so the good guys and bad guys are not who you might naturally think they'd be. I don't know if all this can be suggested by an illustration.
I don't know enough about design to make a helpful comment here. Regarding the question below, I say "free stock only" because I have no good understanding of what stock is or how much it might cost. If you have what you think is a great idea that needs stock, just explain it to me. Happy to listen.
