The working name for the food hall is Tempe Eats. The identified space is 5,700 square feet on a stand-alone pad in a shopping center located in Tempe, Arizona. It will be the first of its kind to offer high-tech, high-convenience, and community feels.
• High-tech: Self-ordering kiosks, with a concierge host to assist. Everyone will be able to order their hearts' desire from multiple restaurants on the same ticket, without having to split up.
• High-convenience: Order ahead via our mobile app and pick-up from our convenient drive-through lane without ever having to leave your car. As far as I'm aware, this will be the world's first food hall with a drive through.
• Community feels: The indoor / outdoor dining areas will encourage our guests to eat, drink, work, and relax. From coffee to lunch to happy hour to dinner, this is an inclusive space that transitions with the crowd. It will be a fast and fun lunch spot for the working crowd and a vibrant neighborhood destination for the evening and weekend crowd. The space will host special events such as live music and community fundraisers. Our food hall will feel modern, mixed use, and welcoming to all ages.
• Global tastes: The food hall will feature numerous culinary experiences from around the world under the same roof. The cuisines may include Japanese, Vietnamese, Italian, American, Mexican taqueria, Spanish tapas, in addition to a coffee + pastry shop and a full cocktail bar. These are my thoughts right now but the restaurants are all subject to change and phased implementation. Since we are running multiple restaurants primarily out of the same large commercial kitchen, rather than many individual stalls, it will be easy for us to experiment and add or remove restaurants. In the future, we may also rent out small stall spaces, perhaps to rising star chefs or artisan food shops.
