I am an attorney in Los Angeles. My firm provides legal services to Internet companies throughout the world. We recently launched the Tech Law Roundup . The Tech Law Roundup publishes a free weekly newsletter and maintains an informative socially interactive website at http://www.TechLawRoundup.com.
The Tech Law Roundup’s free weekly newsletter is transmitted by e-mail and contains articles compiled by attorneys who specialize in Internet law. The scope of the newsletter ranges from the latest legislation regarding the Internet at large to social media privacy and everything in between. The newsletter links to articles from prominent news sources including The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, eclectic sources such as online magazines and well respected bloggers in the field. The result is a diverse and informative perspective of Internet law, compelling for lawyers, Internet professionals and Internet aficionados alike.
The objective of the Tech Law Roundup website is to provide an opportunity for its readers to connect and discuss the evolution of Internet law. The Tech Law Roundup promotes an understanding of both existing and emerging laws and their legal, social, commercial and consumer impact. In addition, the Tech Law Roundup hopes to provide an informative and user friendly experience for all of its readers.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
People interested in the Internet and law. Readers of TechCrunch.com and attorneys that understand that the Internet is the new frontier- but they just do not understand it.
The theme needs to be simple but creative. I would like to see a "western" type theme as the name of the site is Tech Law Roundup.
Roundup is a reference to the wild west and many believe that Internet law is similar to wild west.
The theme cannot be overwhelming. Its needs to compliment the posts.
Each post will contain a link to an article and a pictures.
