I am a retail automotive sales guy, did that most of my life and love it. Still have to go to a dealership now and again and ask them to page me cause I love that sound.
I have been lucky to work with some of the best car dealers in the business and for 23+ years learned enough to be dangerous about starting and running a business. I founded AIMData in 1999 and starved for the first 3 years. Was lucky to have good people come on board to help and we managed to get AIM to a profitable good business. I also got involved with arguably one of the first internet retail used car dealerships MotorTrendsOnline.com, which inspired me to start ClickBuyDrive an online purchasing app for the retail automotive business.
These companies were successfully sold in 2008. From 2008 to 2010 I worked with Reynolds and Reynolds as the Vice President of their Managed Marketing Solutions group. I learned a lot of amazing things there and will forever be grateful for those lessons. I also met a lot of great people who care deeply for the well being of that company and am proud to call them my friends.
May of 2010 I Founded MicrositesByU.com the automotive industry’s first Landing Page Management and Conversion Rate Optimization platform. My career has been an interesting mix of great companies, people and experiences. I consider myself extremely blessed to have had these opportunities and friends.
