While there is a fun aspect to viewing other people's posts, you may also see things that you are not interested in. For example, it's a case of "I'm interested about this person's movie reviews, but I'm not interested in what they have to say about their work". Also, from the posting side, there are times when you think, "I want to write a lot of thoughts about anime, but I'm sure there are many followers who aren't interested. Trickle provides a mechanism called "topics" to solve these problems. Topics are like categories of posts that users can create individually. For example, users can create "reading topics," "anime topics," "diary topics," and so on. Activity posts will be made for each of these topics. Trickle does not follow users, but only the topics they are interested in. You can follow a user's topics. This allows you to see only what you are interested in. This way, only those who are truly interested in the topic will be able to see it, so there is no hesitation in posting. Users are in their 20s and 30s, and many of them are tired of Twitter and Instagram and are looking for a place where they can post freely.
