We are a landscape gardening company specialising in the designing and building of ponds and water features.
I have attached a very rough sketch of what I am looking for. This is a Kingfisher (which is the key part of the design) flying over and looking down onto a pond with a waterfall and reeds at the back with a bright sun in the background. I would really like to be able to use the illustration on some marketing material and if possible would like to be able to separately use the Kingfisher itself (without the background scene) to put onto smaller material such as business cards (and maybe print it onto a t-shirt). I would be very grateful for any designers to use their creative skills to bring this together.
From Latin Alcyone, daughter of Aeolus and wife of Ceyx. When her husband died in a shipwreck, Alcyone threw herself into the sea whereupon the gods transformed them both into halcyon birds (kingfishers). When Alcyone made her nest on the beach, waves threatened to destroy it. Aeolus restrained his winds and made the waves be calm during seven days in each year, so she could lay her eggs. These became known as the "halcyon days", when storms never occur.
