Unique and Eye Catching Spanish Wilderness Illustration

We are a small artisan men’s grooming and fragrance company. The main purpose of this illustration is to create eye catching artwork that will be incorporated into a product label. The majority of our customers are men age 25-55.

We are in need of a stunning, eye catching illustration of the Spanish countryside. This illustration should highlight the beautiful Catalonian region of northern Spain. It should include mountains, rolling hills, water and sky under a setting sun. This should be distinctly illustrative artwork but will leave room for the particular style. It could be drawn, painted or even pointillist or abstract in style. We would like the option of having the fragrance name and our logo included in the work in an illustrative style. The name for the fragrance is “Cosecha Catalana,” or Catalonian harvest. The fragrance is meant to be inspired by a walk through the Catalonian countryside during harvest. A colorful palette is encouraged with orange, green, blue being utilized among others. The main product this illustration will be used for is a round label with 3.93” diameter. Please design with this in mind with the potential of smaller parts of illustration being used on a different label. I’ll include examples in the reference files. This contest is for the illustration only. All adaptation and insertion into labels will be done on our end. ***Note - It seems a distinct focal point would help in creating this landscape illustration particularly for styles that may be a bit more abstract. Examples could include a hiker, farmworker, campfire, picnic table or basket etc.

Please use the photos below for inspiration. The photos aren’t meant to be copied or followed closely, just to give an idea of what this region actually looks like. Also included is a photo of how a previous illustration was used in product labels so that you can see that the illustration may be utilized in more than one way. We’re also not opposed to having illustrated elements of the fragrance included in submissions. These would be plants such as basil, sage, artemisia, clementine, geranium, Hyacinth.
