Need logo design for rebranding of existing IT company that's branching out to provide front-end, creative solutions.

Logo needs to be a balance of contemporary design and simple styling.  Logo needs to express the diverse offerings of the company; from creative web design to technical IT solutions.

- Contemporary Asian styling in approach and composition
- Balance
- Natural colors (5 maximum)
- Simple lines and shapes
- To graphically express the word Ascend
- Must be flexible for multiple media (i.e. business cards, website, letterhead, etc.)
- Original artwork delivered in Adobe Illustrator file format

- The logo to be a part of the company's name
- No words in the logo or logo a part of the name
- Anything too complex
- Anything that looks too much like sci-fi or Star Trek
