Graham - Booth Landscape Architecture
We are a new Florida Landscape Architecture firm formerly with the Valleycrest Design Group. (Our old logo is at http://www.vcdesigngroup.com.)
We create innovative designs for municipalities, healthcare, retail, resorts, community amenity design, institutions (schools and churches), and multi/single-family residential.
Our company was started by Phil Graham, Sr. and in business for 41 years. This new company direction will include the Graham name and tradition, but also is expanded to use another last name, Booth. We're a small shop, but our projects' budgets are large.
This new partnership will allow for more creativity and better serve our clients. We enjoy the design collaborative process with other design professionals. Watching a project from inception to completion with extremely satisfied clients is the best reward. We're fortunate that many clients are repeat customers. Sometimes we work for other design professionals such as architects and builders, and sometimes we work directly with a personal client such as a homeowner.
Graham Booth doesn't create run of the mill design work. We're called in to special, unique, high-end designs. We create lighting, develop paving designs, pools, streetscapes, fountains, and signage with a sustainable plan. We are LEED certified, which means we develop projects in a green fashion.
While located in Florida, our design reach is broad and includes the southeast United States, the Caribbean, South America and the Middle East.
We work with builders, developers, government agencies, utilities, architects, engineers, homeowners and interior designers.
We want our logo to be artistic, but with no plants in the logo design as we are much more than landscape designers. We tend to lean to the abstract, artsy, simple designs. We don't want a logo too busy or over-designed. We must have "Graham" and "Booth" in the logo, in that order, as well as the words "landscape architecture."
The intent of this new logo is to function on two levels - on all marketing materials, AutoCad drawings, proposals to clients and all correspondence. However, we'd also like to see the new logo paired down so a simple element can be used when needed. We'd like the logo to be flexible to use in both vertical and horizontal formats.
We're also debating whether to use a tag line (as yet undecided) within our logo, so the new logo design may need to incorporate this as well.
