Bekker's Catering is a full service catering company who is preparing to launch their sauces and specialty bbq products in grocery stores. We provide buffet catering services throughout San Diego, California. Our speciality is bbq, although we offer 15 different cuisines, from Greek, to Italian, to Mexican. We are "middle of the road" caterers - not high end and not cheap. Some may say that our catering is for more "casual" events, not so much upscale seated dinners. Our catering menus are priced from $9-15 per guest, before service charges. The philosophy behind our catering services is "great impressions". Everything about our interaction, from our website to our personal interactions with clients needs to be impressive. We also sell our food outside of the events we cater. Examples are "to-go" meals. We are also in the process of bottling and selling our bbq sauce, ribs, and other items through retail grocery stores.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We have two primary audiences - corporate and social. For corporate events, our buyers are typically human resources directors and senior executives, which always contact us through their administrative assistants. For social catering, our primary buyer is brides who are planning their weddings. When the brand hits the retail market, the target will be more wide open - anybody who want to buy bbq sauce - but most likely adults who like to cook.
We need a great logo. Something that brands our company and our products. Please view our website at http://www.bekkerscatering.com to get a feel of our colors. Event though in some circles we are famous for our bbq, I'm not sure I would make it completely western. Words I would love for the logo to represent are: catering (but we want to use the logo when we sell sauce so the word "catering" must be removable), service, western, bbq, a touch of class (for the brides who hire us to cater their weddings). Maybe small graphics could say the same as a word. The best example is Dreyer's (the ice cream). Look at http://www.dreyers.com. I can't wait to see your idea. Good luck.
