Central ABI Collaborative
The Central ABI Collaborative is a working group consisting of all publically funded acquired brain injury (ABI) services in the York-Simcoe region (just north of Toronto). We provide networking solutions for individuals with acquired brain injuries living in our community, provide educational opportunities and seek partnerships with non-ABI service providers to increase service capacity to our population. Partners in the collaborative include hospitals, Community Care Access Centres and community-based service providers. Funding for this initiative is provided by the Central Local Health Integration Network.
Our audience will largely consist of service providers outside of acquired brain injury services (i.e. mental health, addictions, homelessness, stroke services, corrections). Part of the objective of the Central ABI Collaborative is to build working relationships with people in other sectors with the aim of working together with them on innovative services for both of our populations. We would like a logo to communicate this eagerness to work together (perhaps through a touch of 'playfulness' in the design, less of the sterility that seems common in health service logos).
