Central Presbyterian Church wants to create a new logo. Two important features that they want to have in the logo is the church's name and their tag phrase: "Deliberately Diverse and Fully Inclusive". The design they have in mind is to incorporate the Christian cross into the name of the church (perhaps in place of the letter "T") with the tag phrase prominently displayed. If the denomination seal ( http://www.pcusa.org/oga/seal.htm ) could be incorporated into the church's logo, that would be a plus (but not a requirement). They are open to any creative designs.
The Central Presbyterian Church in Austin, Texas is a diverse and inclusive community of Christians. This is the 2nd contest they are attempting to develop a logo that represents their image. The design review committee at CPC liked many of the past designs submitted, but have decided that rather than visualize the people in the church, the logo would be more symbolic in nature. We encourage some of the designers who have participated in the initial contest to give us another chance, as we are committed to coming up with a new image for the church. You can read more about the church at the url above, but you will not find any strong imagery - hence the need for a strong logo.
