Thank you all for the effort so far..... Almost there. Please remember the goal here is to establish a logo that can be used by itslef in a small scale and also with the text on a larger scale. It would be used on business cards, envelopes, letter heads, website, graph paper, signs banners, etc. My business name will be Akertect Design (play on Architect and my last name, 'Aker'). My target audience is builders and rich people. If you are interested in seeing more of the type of homes I work on, you can google "shingle beach architecture". The logo should say "AKERTECT DESIGN" and '-architecture-'. Please use your judgement for size and style but keep with themes I have already approved. I am open to various color options or inverted colors as well. I will try my best to comment on individual images to give direction to each of you for the next round and feel free to ask any questions. -Thank you very much

I originally selected purple because it had more of the slate blue family of colors but was getting too many purple designs. Please consider navy/slate blue more than purple. Thank you very much

I like simple and this logo will go on my title block which is roughly a 1.5" x 1.5" square as well as business cards, website, graph paper, etc. so I want it to be legible even if used in small scale but nice enough to be by itself as a large scale icon as well. (Perhaps when it is small scale, I will just use the monogram logo, and use the logo and full business name for larger scale. )
