Erstwhile is a boutique brand offering unique, one of a kind resin jewellery including brooches, bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings and hair accessories. The products are designed exclusively in Australia and will be produced in limited editions.
This brand is centred on a modern interpretation of vintage objects and childhood memories with a quirky twist. Each product has a personality, meaning or story that has it’s own message. The wearer sees in the product a familiarity and instant connection to it’s story.
Products provide a warm, spirited, often funny, childlike, curious and unexpected response.
The key is the connection to our childhood memories, the things that moved us, the toys we lost, what we found funny, the things our mothers adored but we couldn’t have, what we dreamt of and what we ultimately hope to become.
This brand offers a connection and story, a comfort/companion, an interesting talking point, spirit, and a reason to smile; ultimately giving the wearer a story to hold dear forever and pass on to future generations.
These are collectable products that will have unique and high quality packaging that will be a significant part of the brand offering.
Please see attached brooches for an idea of our current range.

Erstwhile will only be stocked in mid-high end boutiques around Australia and internationally. These stores sell very high quality exclusive products that are usually designed and or made in Australia.
The target market is concentrated around the 25-50 age bracket. These women are creative, eccentric, individual and have an appreciation for fashion, design, the arts and vintage curios.
The logo needs to :
-Be original and unique
-Be suggestive of past influences/ childhood memories
-Be modern and clean (not too vintag-ie)
-Creative, clever and quirky
-Inspire curiosity and be a little off beat
-Be feminine and spirited.
-The font should be vintage with a quirky twist. I don't want anything obviously too vintage but I certainly don't want a plain font.
-The logo should have a quirky, vintage style border as part of the logo that can be used as a stamp. I like the idea of incorporating hidden shapes with a vintage feel (please see 'border ideas 1,2 and 3')
-I am certainly open to new ideas so feel free to send any through
-The logo shouldn't date too quickly
-I'm open to colour ideas but am also happy with a black and white logo
