We are searching for a new logo of our portal http://baby-boom.at
The website will be redesigned after a new logo has been found, thus we can give you all the creative freedom that you need!
Please make sure to read the description if you want to participate.
Baby-Boom.at (case-insensitive, doesn't matter which characters are uppercase and which not)
Baby-Boom.at is a website dedicated to young mothers, fathers, and, obviously, babies.
On this portal you can find any information about pregnancy, birth,
lactation and generally babies that you might be searching for. Mothers
write reports about their own experiences here, can participate in baby
photo competitions, communicate in a dedicated parents' forum, search
for books about these topics etc.
We are currently refreshing the website. It will have a new
technical base, a new look, and, of course, a new logo. The current
logo is OK, but rather unspecific and, at least in my opinion,
unprofessional. So we want you to come up with something new and fresh.
The logo will be used on the new website and on a couple of print
documents. Thus it should be possible to use the logo in black/white.
Please do include as well a multi-color as a two-color (doesn't have to
be black&white) version in your designs.
We would like to have a glossy version too in addition to the flat
normal version of the logo. You don't have to present the glossy
version in the contest, I just want to mention that it will be required
when you are chosen as a winner ("glossy" meaning a version with subtle
lightning effects etc., as used in advertisement photos or banners).
The target audience are mainly young mothers and women in general, but to a small amount also young fathers.
The logo should resemble the content of the site: babies. Thus it should be cute (not childish!), using soft colors (I like the colors in the current webdesign a lot!), while staying professional and clear.
