BingoBeez is a relatively new player in the online bingo gaming scene, we launched in April 2009 and have enjoyed a very good year.
BingoBeez is about giving more to our players in the form of free gift and some excellent prices.
We have just launched a Flash version of our games and feel that our current mascot does not communicate fully our youthfulness and brand image.
BingoBeez offers 5 bingo halls: Party Hall, 90 Ball Hall, Blowout Hall, Classic Hall and even a Free Hall. There's also a whole range of over 30 other online games to play, including Slots, Casino Games and Instant Games
What is the project? To create a mascot for the Bingobeez brand which is a bumblebee for use across all branding, ad campaigns, videos, social media. A bee is required (she is called Bernadette) who will be provided in several positions, from several angles with several expressions in order to be able to utilize her in many ways.
Main target audience is predominantly female, over the age of 34 -70 and is seeking entertainment and social interaction online, they are playing bingo mainly to have fun as opposed to winning money and are probably seeking friendship/chat with other players.
Clothing, props, backgrounds? Props – bingo ball, coins. We will also need one queen bee version with a crown to convey VIP players, clothing we need her to look female but to definitely look like a bee. Background required are a) for the website so blue and b) white background and c) yellow honey colour for the flash gaming interface
•Positioning of characters or overall design: is there a specific pose desired for the character? As mentioned above we need several poses, flying bee, standing bee, bee presenting things to her right, bee presenting things to her left, bee above something, bee below something and we also need back, side etc views in order to be able to manipulate for flash animation
Look and feel -- the overall style, attitude or impression you're trying to convey: above all friendly, entertaining and fun.
We also like the bee from Bee movie and feel that this type of thing but female, smiling, friendly would be along right lines, but we’d also like the bee to look powerful maybe a bit magic, kind of like mighty mouse – but overall FRIENDLY is most important
.Objectives and Target Audience
• What are you expecting this art or design to achieve for your business? We are expecting it to give Bingobeez a friendly fun image, to position the brand as entertaining and the bee to become representative for the brand and build awareness through recognition in social media & cute friendly videos.
• Who is going to see the finished product? All our bingo players, all those visiting the website, social media, YouTube videos, potential affiliates and all those on other bingo directory sites or gaming sites where there is advertising
• Where will the final art be utilized (print, web, apparel, etc.)? final art will be used predominantly on the web but in static banners, animated, flash video, as well as on the website extensively.
-- Creative Ideas
• Colors: Are there any required or desired colors to be used in the illustration? We attach the new gaming interface and the new ‘under development’ website design which are close to launch which are the official colours to be used – as she is female might be nice to use a bit of the purple but as long as colours from this template are used then that is acceptable.
