Milledgeville Community Connections: Digital Bridges... Bringing People Together
Digital Bridges is an initiative to create a model for sustained, community-led adoption and use of broadband through Milledgeville, GA. The community will identify local challenges and match them with the digital technologies to address them, whether they are in healthcare, education, government or other areas.The project will consist of two interdependent efforts:
1. Digital Bridges will establish the Knight Community Innovation Center, a high-profile, easily accessible facility, available to the community without charge. The facility will be a place for training, professional development and creative experimentation. A small-business incubation component will encourage technology-based entrepreneurial start-ups. Internet-based conferencing equipment will provide a resource for connecting to satellite locations at local churches, senior housing and local schools.
2. In the Community: The Knight Community Connect program will provide recognition to strategic GCSU faculty and K-12 teachers as well as citizens serving as community content resource leaders. The Knight Learning Leadership Recognition program will recognize GCSU graduate and undergraduate students who initiative projects in their major of study.

The Digital Bridges project resides in the small southern town of Milledgeville Ga, but the exposure could be national. The logo must be clean, simple, and innovative.
Since this is a community initiative, we would also like a "friendly' logo. Not too corporate or mundane.
While the non-profit will need appear to all age groups, there's a particular emphasis on attracting small technology start-up businesses and entrepreneurs ages 21-35.
Logo should focus on the words "Digital Bridges."
Would like examples of logo to be with and without the tagline "Bringing People together"
Color choice should be 'happy' and fresh. Not corporate or dull. Please include a color logo as well as a black and white version.
Must be able to print on a billboard or shrink to the size of a favicon. The logo will be incorporated into a business card, letterhead, and website.
Logo must be distinctive and original.
If you chose to create a "bridge," please do not be too literal.
