we are a family run farm in rural ohio specializing in growing and selling cut flowers at farmers markets.we hope to expand our buis. to to restaurants and other institutions this year.cat run ranch is our name because we live next to tiny cat run creek,we have five cats and three dogs and something is always running.I guess ranch came into the name because we have miniature donkeys, and it seemed to sound right.we are open to changing the name to cat run flower farm.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Farmers market customers;I think they really like the rural-rustic look.Only people with extra money buy flowers."city folks." People who would buy the absolute freshest,'naturally grown',pesticide free local flowers are the market I am after.People who buy cut flowers seem to be well educated.
our biggest sellers are sunflowers.maybe an old fencepost with a black iron cat run ranch sign and a cat in full stride hanging under it and sunflowers and red hollyhocks behind.maybe the cat run ranch could be on the side of an old mailbox with a cat on top?Maybe with an old 'flower farm' sign nailed to the post below the mailbox. sunflowers can be all yellow,I said red hollyhocks for the height and color.this will need to look good on some shade of green for a backround.Another idea I am open to would be the sun comming up over an old red barn with a sunflower as the sun and a cat in there somewhere. It could have 'flower farm' painted on the barnsideand cat run ranch printed above or below.Harris seeds has good sunflower pictures
