I am a mother of two young boys who has been conducting science incursions at various primary schools on a casual basis.
All children love these science incursions and the chance to do hands-on experiments in the classroom with the interesting science equipment I bring.
They do all sorts of topics including: suds and bubbles, light and colour, sound, chemistry with a bang, metals and magnets, forensic science, space, plants, mini beasts, electricitiy, toys and the list goes on.
At the end of each session excited children ask me where they can buy equipment that they used during the session so they can continue experiments at home. They want to know where to buy a propellar and motor to get a toy car moving, or if I can write down the chemicals used in an explosive reaction.
This gave me the inspiration to put together some simple science kits based on popular topics to on sell to children and their parents. The kits include equipment for experiments and a short booklet containing facts about the topic and experiment guides. Quality at a reasonable price.
