We are a family-owned, 63 year old wholesale distributor of plumbing and air conditioning supplies. We sell products to the building industry for residential, commercial, industrial, MRO and retail sectors. Our primary marketing is the San Joaquin Valley of Central California. Our sales territory is composed of 4 counties, all within a 100 mile radius.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our primary target audience is the new construction industry, specifically general contractors, plumbing contractors and HVAC contractors. Additionally, we sell to government agencies, MRO operations and companies that resell our products. We hope to maintain and build our current markets, however, we would like to expand on the remodel market and government related sales.
We would lke to convey an image of strength and reliability. A bold design that suggests we are here "for the long haul". Perhaps, the use of our year of incorporation (ex. "Since 1947"), could work into the design. We would stilll like to appear progressive and appeal to the next generation of contractors and service professionals. As the attached logo shows, we have keyed in on the initials "ESCO" for some time now. The fill in the initials is typically don in red. It would be nice to continue this in some form or fashion. We have adopted the use of red and black or grey in all previous designs. This color combination should be continued. The full name of the company should be in the logo design, if even in very small lettering. In the end, the design should seem bold, yet simple and recognizable in the distribution industry.
