A startup company that I worked for recently closed and I decided to chase my dream of working for myself. My daughter and I both suffer from dry skin, especially in the winter months (we live in Nebraska!), and my daughter also suffers from eczema. I spent a few months perfecting a natural goats milk soap that has worked wonders for our skin. After giving some samples to friends and family, I decided to sell my product online. Thats where you come in!
MaVita is the name of our company. MaVita is a combination of latin words. Ma is from Mater matris (mother) and Vita (life).
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My target audience is mainly women (or men who want to buy a gift for the woman in their life). Target ages would be mid twenties through early forties and beyond. A woman who buys this product would tend to be someone who takes care of themselves (high maintenance?). Someone who would shop at Whole Foods and would be proud to be natural and organic. They will want to be glamorous, pretty, and pampered.
We are looking for a logo to represent our Natural Soap products, but do not have any other pre-conceptions at this point about colors or typefaces. We are also looking for a tagline but do not want the tagline to be incorporated within the logo. The font should be able to match the logo but the logo should be able to be used without the tagline.
We are looking for a certain vibe of glamour and purity combined in one. Something airy, elegant and clean in appearance. Our vision for the logo would be something that wouldn't be out of place sitting next to a nice bottle of wine.
1. We do NOT want an earthy or "crafty" feel to the logo
2. Please do not use any stock photography in the logo
3. Please do not use any references to "soap" or use any images of bars of soap in the logo as we plan to expand the line in the future to other products.
We will require a complete array of file types (.psd, .gif. .jpeg) for use in various areas. All copyrights for the designs must be assigned to us.
We are new to this, so any other questions, please ask!
