Green Medical Training
I am the Training Director of Green Medical Training (G.M.T.), and work with a company Bay Area Expeditions (bayareaexpeditions.com). I primarily teach wilderness medicine for First Aid, First Responder, and EMT wilderness upgrade. With Bay Area Expeditions we take people on trips from 1 day to a week out in a State Parks to Bureau of Land Management. Going over survival techniques from; how to plan a trip, primitive skills, off-road vehicle techniques, and of course wilderness medical.
I have been a medic for 10 years, starting as an Airborne Infantry Medic in the Army for 6 years, a Flight Medic in Black Hawk Helicopters for 2 years, spending over 3years in Iraq and Afghanistan. Now a Flight Medic with a Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team and teaching CPR to EMT upgrade classes. I have been out of the Army for 2years now and started my Medical Training Center 1year ago, and also have been working with Bay Area Expeditions the same amount of time. Both sides are really starting to pick up and I would like a solid logo for the medical side of the program. I have not been advertising the name Green Medical Training or G.M.T., but I plan on making patches and stickers for the students to take home along with the certifications I provide. I am 30 years old and this is a dream of mine and I hope everyone reading this can help me out. Thank You!
Outdoors enthusiasts...I have advertised these medical classes on calguns.net to attract the hunters who are out in the wildernesss, the military to prior military, and the avid backpackers. We have taught from young adults to families too.
Yes somewhat broad.
This logo is to be placed on bayareaexpeditions.com website, for also making a patch to put on your jacket like you would see in tadgear.com and stickers and so on.
The attachment shows designs similar to my ideas. The contour lines of a map like tadgear as background or inside the medic star of life or cross (red cross style) could work. Tire marks in the background to represent the off roading we do. Or even a silhouette of an oak tree (being the most common tree in Northern California).
I would like it more of a box pattern like tadgear then the circle like wilderness medicine logos I attached.
In the center should be either the cross or the medic star of life (which is represented in the NOLs logo). Also either Green Medical Training in the border or in the center or even G.M.T. If it will fit bayareaexpeditions.com in small writing at the bottom of the logo mixed into the contour lines whatever creative way you can find.
Wilderness like colors, night time like theme, military colors are all possibilities. The shutterstock at night time with the tire marks has nice style to it for colors and patterns on the ground. At the same time a nice Cypress Hill style oak tree could make it happen.
Obviously I need help to put this together. Good Luck!
