Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We're a solar energy start-up in South Asia, specifically Pakistan, looking to deliver electricity to people beyond the grid.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Rationale behind the name: Green for Pakistan's flag and the "green" nature of solar energy. Phoenix because we're launching out of the University of Chicago (the school's emblem). Ventures because it sounds cool.
For the logo, I was envisioning a graphic of a phoenix along with the company name (Green Phoenix Ventures) but am open.
I had searched the web for phoenix images and I liked this image the most: http://phoenix-irc.net/Phoenix.jpg. I like it primarily because the wings look like crescents (the Pakistani flag features a crescent moon) and the sun behind the phoenix. I was thinking that the phoenix in the logo could essentially replicate the image I linked to except less ominous looking, more smoothed edges (e.g., no feathers), and with an overall more modern look. But again, am open.
