The Global Smile Project
We are a group of dedicated dental and global public health students aspiring to create a social movement behind our efforts for relieving the unnecessary, debilitating, and preventable burden of dental disease around the world. The organization was founded while in the midst of recent projects aiming to improve access to care and engaging preventative strategies for Inuit communities in Alaska and Native American communities in South Dakota. We are developing new partnerships with communities in Mexico, Peru, Vietnam, Kenya, Nepal, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Africa, and Rwanda. Core values of The Global Smile Project include; the devotion of our members to being agents of positive social change, the authenticity of trust fostered within the communities in which we work as a reflection of our empathy and cultural sensitivity, and the quality of dental services we bring to each unique project ensured within the commitment to our partnerships. To accommodate global expansion we must expand our operation and are currently focused on doing so, please help us!!!!!!
We are reaching out to the world asking for help with our mission to bring dental care to communities that are in desperate need! We are seeking support from volunteers, the media, dental schools, other organizations with similar missions, government officials, hospitals, and political associations.
We need a thoughtful, unique, and credible logo capable of characterizing our aspirations to effectively attract social, political, and financial support for our mission. We would like our logo to focus on credibility, marketability, and our relationships with many diverse cultures around the world.
