I am a personal and group fitness trainer with a passion for helping and teaching people how to be fit, healthy, and active. After 15 years in a competitive business climate, I saw and felt the effects stress put on my body. But the gym was a very intimidating place and I had no idea what to do to get my body into shape. I love working with individuals, creating a path to help them reach their fitness goals, no matter where they are starting from. And I really love watching people achieve things they never thought they could do. A strong body helps to create a strong mind and a self confidence emerges that often gives people courage to try things they never would have. It is incredibly rewarding for me. Live Life Sweaty is my motto and I really believe it. Get out, get moving, and enjoy your life!! As a new trainer, my business has grown very quickly. I work hard for my clients and it shows, and I expect them to work hard for me. However, I see so many areas of opportunity to grow this business. I am developing a website with lots of great fitness and nutrition information. I would like to add in mobile fitness vans to go to employers and individuals homes and eventually my own training gym. I would also like to develop a clothing line. Its never too late to start working toward your fitness goals and I want to be the person to help you get there. Live Life Sweaty!!
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I have a broad target audience, from 12-70, males and females. I work with a wide range of individuals. Many of my clients have a desire to be fit and healthy, but perhaps have not worked out in years, and have no idea what they should be doing. I also train athletes; young athletes to condition their bodies and teach them proper training techniques, as well as elite athletes that want a challenging fitness program to keep their bodies functioning at its best. I have several clients that are fit and healthy but want a challenging, fun workout to help them stay motivated. I utilize functional training focusing on core conditioning, balance, flexibility, strength and cardio.
I am looking for 3 elements to a logo to be used separately or together. I would like my brand name, Jami Klein Fitness or JK Fitness ( depending on which one works better), the company tagline, Live Life Sweaty, and a graphic element. I see using all of these elements separately, in pairs, or all 3 together. For example, "Live Life Sweaty" on t-shirts and towels, the graphic element alone as a small tag on clothing or as a symbol on clothing and other gear, and all 3 parts together on advertising, the website and stationary items, such as business/appointment cards, note paper, etc. I am leaning towards the colors navy, light blue (think the North Carolina Tarheels) and grey, a medium to darker shade; however I am open to orange (Chicago Bears!!) instead of the light blue as an accent color. These are not absolute, but they are what I go back to time and time again. I am also a big fan of all capital letters, with the first letter larger than the rest. Again not an absolute, its just a look I tend to go for. I haven't found the perfect font, so I am open.
I like clean and uncluttered designs, with a modern edge. Think the Nike Swoosh:) Nothing foo-foo or prissy looking. I really like the company tagline "Live Life Sweaty" and I envision it on lots of items. So feel free to be creative with that. Have fun!! and Thank you in advance for time!
