MAJOR'S: "Major's" first started as "Major League Supplements", then "Major's Supplements", and finally just "Major's", with the phrase 'Workout Supplements' to be included in the tagline of the logo.
Just so we're clear:
WORKOUT SUPPLEMENTS: Should be the tagline in the logo, although we will accept an exceptionally well-done logo with or without a tagline.
Our products include protein, creatine, glutamine, BCAA's, etc.
MISSION: To be the number one online home-brand supplement company in Canada, to teach people about what they are ingesting and to know what factors to consider when buying a supplement product. Home-brand means that we only sell our line of products that we manufacture. Yes, the logo will be on our entire product line.
VALUES: We are the anti-supplement company in a sense. We are a group of fitness professionals who got really fed-up with the all the trickery and scams that we have seen over the years by supplement companies, and all the complete nonsense we have heard from clients about different supplements (their illogical thinking fueled by different marketing campaigns).
We are unwavering in the quality of our ingredients, and really take an educational standpoint with our approach. We believe that in educating prospects on what these ingredients do in the body and what to look for when buying their supplements, that they will come to their own conclusions about why we are the best.
MAPLE LEAF: We would like to include a maple leaf as the apostrophe in our logo to broadcast our Canadian roots to every household that our products are shipped to. This is a point of pride for our team and an indicator of value and quality to our customers.
SUBMITTED FILES: Included are two very crudely drawn logos by two of our least artistically-challenged partners with a general idea of how we want our logo to look.
-The hand signifies a salute (or a poorly attempted one), playing on 'Major' as an army term. This does not have to be included in the final draft. It is an attempt to give the image an air of authority and a catchy quality to it. Apparently clip art doesn't have a saluting hand, that's why it looks more like a slap.
-The globe was to give the logo an international feel and the perception that our company is worldwide. We like the idea and wouldn't mind seeing it on the final draft, but again, not absolutely necessary.
So there's a little bit about our company and logo ideas. We hope this helped and want to remind you we are very open minded. Please don't hesitate to ask questions if need be.
We look forward to seeing your brilliant suggestions.
