We provide an easy to use subscription tool for restaurant owners to build an interactive social menu. This menu can be placed on the restaurant's website or Facebook page. The menu shows Facebook users which of their friends have eaten each item and whether they liked it or not. There is also a mobile app for people to discover nearby restaurants and menus.
The two key pillars to our business are the restaurant industry and social technology. Users are able to share with friends and discover what their friends have been eating. Restaurants are able to leverage word of mouth marketing as customers share recommendations and menu items with their friends though Facebook or their mobile phones.
Our target sales audience is marketing managers at larger restaurant chains as well as restaurant owners. They will be technology-savvy and forward-thinking, with a desire to market and grow their business on Facebook.
The branding should also be appealing to a young audience who will use the mobile app to find nearby restaurants and share/discover menu items with their friends. They own smartphones and are likely power users of Twitter and Facebook.
