Cadway are a specialist design firm that work with clients to produce buildable project documentation out of 3D models. We create the 3D models using software called Autodesk Revit (http://www.autodesk.com/revit).
Cadway is committed to fully converting to Revit as we truly believe in the software and believe it supplies you with a better final product with less possibility of errors. Given Cadway's dedication to excellence in documentation we wouldn't use a product we didn't trust. The very nature of Revit also allows it to be improved in certain areas.
We have engaged a software application developer to begin creating a suite of product extensions/enhancements/add-ons for Revit that we will market to the global Revit community.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The target audience will be technical for the most part and will be current users of the Revit product. They will over time see that we are providing value added applications to the Revit product.
The tools aim to:
• Increase productivity,
• Act as a form of Quality Assurance,
• Automate repetitive and tedious tasks,
• Add features missing from Revit itself,
• Save all Revit users time and money.
All of our applications will be to enhance the Revit product. Xrev being the product prefix and logo. We plan to use the wording in marketing campaigns such as:
Need increased productivity? – Xrev it!
We will market to them via blogs, web apps, as well as standard marketing methods – so the logo needs to be able to have a broad reach. It would need to be practically reproducible in print and online formats.
We would like the logo to be aligned to our current style (see our website http://www.cadway.com.au) and colours, but we would like the Xrev logo to be expressive.
Files should be provided in PDF and vector formats editable in the Adobe suite.
