The Franciscan Community of Reconciliation is a community that embraces the spirit and commitment to the Gospels of Francis and Clare of Assisi and Charles of Brazil. These holy Saints in answering God's call, recognized the need to initiate reform in the church, seek social justice, embrace the poor and reconcile to the church those who were no longer welcome. We are non-Roman Catholic and are affiliated with the Catholic Apostolic Church in North America (CACINA.org). We do not discriminate again age, gender or sexual orientation. We tend to be viewed as a rather "liberal" order among the religious communities of the world.

The colors of our habit would be a natural color scheme. The habit is grey in color. Friars wear a white rope around their waste and a silver crucifix that hangs on a red cord.
