Good Ventures is a project of the Gwendolyn Strong Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 public charity with offices in Santa Barbara, CA. Good Ventures was created to provide mentoring, resources and financial support to startup web entrepreneurs looking to build a nonprofit business. Our 2010 Inaugural Program will help five web-based startups bring their socially conscious idea from concept to reality, culminating with a annual conference and fund raising gala spotlighting our portfolio companies in front of private foundations, corporations and wealthy individuals to secure the grants and support needed to, together, make a material impact on society.

The logo needs to convey a sense of true professionalism and trust while remaining sharp, almost elegant. Someone viewing the logo must immediately get the feeling that this is a professional, legitimate organization. Ideally, the logo would convey a sense of discovery and inspiration.
General themes for the logo include:
- social change
Lastly, as a project of the Gwendolyn Strong Foundation the GSF butterfly should be incorporated, though not prominently, within the logo. The color scheme of the butterfly does not matter and can be changed to fit the scheme of the logo.
