I have begun hand making and selling beauty products (mostly soaps and lotions) in my community. I have always had sensitive skin and I have found that natural cosmetics which contain herbs and essential oils instead of fragrances (with chemicals) do not irritate my skin. Needless to say, this has become one of my passions and I am going forth with it. Here are a few facts about "earthbalisms":
* earthbalisms is a combination of the words earth, herbal, and isms
* this is a cosmetic company offering soaps, lotions, spa/bath products, all of which contain high quality, natural herbs, oils, and essential oils (from the earth!)
* it is very important to me that when choosing ingredients, I first seek out products from fairtrade, organic, or small independent sources.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
These products are for people who are seeking a natural alternative for their skin. So far, I have received most requests from women between the ages of 20-50. Some may not initially be interested in the fair trade, organic, independent sources, but they will be interested in the health benefits. Loyal customers will be more into the fair trade, organic, independent sources in addition to the health benefits.
Some of these people are completely into or may dabble in alternative/wholistic health, aromatherapy, or natural living.
The guidelines are listed below, but I am open to logos outside of this.
*I like earthtones and deep, bold colors (like royal purple)
*I have envsioned a logo in which the earth is somehow incorporated into "e" of earthbalisms, but it is not necessary
*something that looks good in black and white as well as color
*please consider the "picture" part of the logo will be used as a soap stamp and "hole puncher" as well
*I like leaves and tress, but I'm not into it for a logo as there are many companies that already have this look
*earthbalisms is typically all lowercased, but I'm not opposed to capital letters
