We have attached a photo of a piece of wrought iron that we'd like to incorporate into a logo. Once our logo is complete, we intend to mount the iron on the wall of our firm office, so we definitely would like to have the iron piece incorporated into the logo somehow. Ideally, we would like our specific piece used instead of generic wrought iron clip art. We've attached a copy of the draft ideas (using clip art instead of our own iron piece) we've had, but we are open to suggestion!
Basically, we'd like something that looks classic and incorporates some of the style of Charleston, South Carolina. For those who aren't familiar, Charleston is a coastal city, and is famous for it's historic buildings, live oaks and Spanish moss, and gentile southern charm. The wrought iron piece we would like to incorporate into our logo was reclaimed from a local home built in 1884.
Our typical clients are professionals and business people. We are a small firm by design, and use our size to provide more client centered one on one service to our clients. That said, we want to appear well established and create an impression of professionalism with our logo.
We hope to use our logo as a brand of sorts... on our website, stationary, print ads, etc. We want something versatile that will work in all of these capacities. Thanks in advance for your hard work- we're really looking forward to seeing your ideas!
