Vicecapades.com will be an all-original content web site offering dating advice and editorial on the world's oldest obsessions: relationships, indulgence and contemporary survival. I need an edgy, unique, eye-catching logo and look-and-feel for the web site.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
The idea behind the site is to offer no-holes-barred, boot-camp style of advice about dating and relationships, and peripherally other aspects of modern culture, but primarily this is the kind of site that might be as controversial as popular. (Imagine articles like, "10 biggest lies women tell..", "What's wrong with drinking?", or horror stories of bad dates) centered around a Q&A about dating & relationships, along with dos and don'ts covering all aspects of living in an age where a person is flooded with distractions and potential indulgences and wants to know how to prioritize things... that's what I'm going for.
This mainly consists of a logo design, along with a color scheme we would integrate into the web site, depending upon the nature of the design, some kind of transition/edge effect (where appropriate). See the site: http://lawineclub.com/ to see an example of the type of information layout we would use. A logo up top, a menu sidebar (in our case, probably right justified) and a content area. The primary stylization would be the logo, and depending upon the color scheme and nature of the logo, some sort of complimentary graphics that could be used as top/left/right/bottom edges of boxes (it could be something as simple as a transition from a white background area where content might reside to a different color or texture that serves as the background for the logo and sidebar.
- "Vicecapades.com" logo (if on dark background, a light background version too where appropriate)- Transition graphics (where appropriate)
- .PSD source files with layers
I'm open to just about any ideas. It can be radical and even controversial, or classy and slick. It could be abstract or more specific - I want to fully take advantage of 99designs and see as many different ideas as possible.
