I am an aromatherapist that got interested in pure essential oils because I wanted a natural safe way to take care of my family. I was curious about treating everything from their runny noses to the OCD my son had recently been diagnosed with. My study of essential oils lead me to a doctor who specializes in natural healing through diet, supplements and other safe alternatives that didn't have dangerous side effects often associated with pharmaceuticals. Together, she and I have developed powerful blends that can treat both the physical and psychological complaints of her patients, including stress, insomnia, and anxiety. The skies the limit, and I need an eye catching logo to get the word out about our products.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We will be selling our blends to both the medical field and to the general public. The logo should look professional but not to stuffy or technical. The dentist who is diffusing our blends in his office for fear and anxiety should be equally impressed with the product as the mother picking our Monster Blend for her child afraid of the dark and that lurking within.
This logo will be replacing the one I am currently using. The feedback I got about the old label was that is was too simple, and that the product didn't stand out from the other products on the shelf. See the example of that label below.
Your logo is going to be used on my labels. My blends are predominantly in a 2oz cobalt blue glass spray bottle with white tops. I don't care what color is used in the logo but think that the cobalt blue bottle should be taken into consideration. Pure essential oils come from plants, a lot of those being flowers. The logo should reflect nature in some way. I like the chamomile flower but that's just an idea, I am open to anything. If you would like to learn more about aromatherapy and what it's about go here http://www.aromaweb.com/articles/wharoma.asp Hopefully it will give you even more ideas. The last thing I would like to mention is that my tag line will be "making scents out of chemistry" and would like it included in the design concept. Aromatherapy is more than what we think smells good. Each plant has valuable chemical components that make it a healing powerhouse and such a valuable addition to those interested in healing the body naturally.
