Bella Luna Marketing
I'm a marketing manager in the Austin, TX area. I've been in the business for 15 years now (hailing my way from NY to CA and now in TX) and am venturing out on my own as a consultant. I've always been entrepreneurial and because of some recent changes in the corporate world have been graciously forced into trying my hand at a solo business. Scared, but very excited! I know I can do this and need a fantastic logo that's going to get me noticed, standing out from all the rest. My business and my style is all about reliability, professionalism, building relationships and having fun. That's what I'll strive to convey in my work and the relationships and friendships I'll build through my consulting business.
Austin is a very small community and so if you're considered one of the best in your business, word gets around quick. I want my company to be one of the best, to get to the point where new business is generated by word-of-mouth, by people who know and trust my opinion and work.
I'm the mom of three amazing little girls and want them to see Mommy be hugely successful in her new business!! I want to hear them brag about me to their friends and their friends' moms!! :)
VP of Marketing, Directors of Marketing at large companies, marketers at start-ups, small business owners -- folks who need the marketing help but because of downsizing or workforce reductions have had to let go of many of the worker bees in their marketing departments who would have otherwise managed their marketing projects internally. They have the money, just not enough to hire permanent bodies and so have had to outsource and turn to consultants (enter ME!).
Think bold, clean, web 2.0. It's a great name, Bella Luna Marketing, and I'd like to play up the "moon" theme without it being overdone or terribly obvious. Maybe as an icon/graphic. (Please note that you don't have to do the moon theme, that's just an option. I'd like to see an equal number of designs, straight text and text/graphic.)
I will be using the logo in obvious places -- business card, stationery, web site, online, Twitter, Facebook, print -- so it needs to hold up at different sizes.
I like bright colors (earthy greens, orange, blues), something that will pop on a web site that will be either a light color or white. I am not tied to these colors so if you think something else will work, feel free to submit your ideas.
Don't want cursive writing/text, anything that's uber-feminine. If you're going to try feminine, it'd have to be something pretty unique. See http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/67678 for an example of something that caught my eye.
Thank you soooo much! I'm looking forward to seeing the various options.
