Dogged Bookkeeping

I am a bookkeeper in Cooktown, Far North Queensland. I have been here for over a decade, and I have a reputation for being reliable and thorough in my work. I have just taken on a part-time employee and registered the name Dogged Bookkeeping. I am locally well known as a dog lover as well as being a tenacious bookkeeper. I want a simple image of a dogged but friendly looking dog that I can use for T-shirts and business cards etc.
A touch of humour would be good, as reflected in the name itself.

Local businesses in Cooktown, which is a small Queensland town of 2500 or so people, in the tropics. Most of my customers are small business owners - single operators or husband/wife teams. They are too busy running their actual businesses for any bullshit, and appreciate efficient, honest, cheap accounting services - which is what I provide. I have developed friendships with most of my customers, and I respect them all.
So something down-to-earth, not frilly, would be suitable.

I want a simple logo that has the silhouette of a dog with the words Dogged Bookkeeping.
I want to be able to easily reproduce this image on embroidered shirts for my employee and myself. I will also use the logo in letterheads, business cards, and advertising. I can design and produce these myself if I have the right logo.
I want an image that is original and appealing, and that suggests tenacity, loyalty, strength and friendliness.
Be aware that I have a Staffordshire Terrier, and I am particularly fond of this breed.
