We are a new Internet network launching our own web series, destined to be one of the most popular for car enthusiasts around the world.
We have other shows in our network, created by other producers, but this is our first wholly-developed and produced series.
We will have internationally ranked driver/hosts testing the ultimate cars and comparing their performance in a lively, fun and funny format. Guest hosts from the X-game, film and music world will drop in occasionally.
They'll be wringing out cars like the Novitec Ferrari, Hennessey Viper and Ruf Porsche Turbo for your enjoyment.
This is not drag racing or drifting or off-road. This is road course racing and lateral acceleration, 0-60 and 100-0 tests. Cars we test will be in the $300K to $1.2 million range.
Auto enthusiasts, with an emphasis on males 18-34, who comprise the largest subsegment currently watching automotive video online. These are guys who aspire to drive like our drivers and perhaps to one day own cars that will rip around a road course like the top tuners.
Our preference is vector art, but if the best design is in .tif or .psd format, we can live with that. We have no immediate need to use the logo larger than 2400 pixels wide.
We have a design (attached) that we like, and a fully finished rendering similar to it will meet our requirements.
Having said that, we will look at some variations if they follow these rules:
We like the show's initials (TT) on a badge or crest. The shape of that badge needs to be different from that of the top perfomance marques. Our current rendering is somewhere between the badge shape of a Lotus and a Lamborghini. Porsche and Ferrari also use badges. We need to be dissimilar, but obviously still automotive.
That we envision this design as a car badge, which would have a glossy surface and be slightly convex. (We may add a reflection animation to emphasize that at some future date.)
The TT portion may be raised from the badge, but we are seeking something that give the impression of power and performance in an automotive context. The current rendering is basically the Audi TT logo, and we need to separate ourselves from that.
Please resist the impulse to do '50s chromed lettering. There is nothing 'retro' about the show.
The only identity on and around the badge is Top Tuner and/or TT. We are not looking to put AutoStream in this logo.
