New Media Entrepreneurship Conference or New ME Conference
The New Media Entrepreneurship Conference (or New ME Conference) is a new conference that will take place in 2010. It is focused on bringing together entrepreneurs in new media/internet as well as key individuals from government and the venture capital communities.
The New Media Entrepreneurship conference was born with the goal of developing an action plan to get ALL minorities involved in Internet entrepreneurship. While there are other conferences that focus on tools and execution, we are set apart by our goal of exposing the opportunity and ensuring the success of minority Internet entrepreneurs. No other conference does this. Concretely the conferences mission and goals are to:
• Facilitate open discussion about how to increase the likelihood of success of minority start-ups in new media;
• Formulate an action plan to increase the number of minority new media start-ups and increase the number of successful start-ups that survive; and to
• Develop a policy framework for advancing and stimulating the growth of minority new media start-ups.
We are excited to launch the ONLY conference that will bring together influentials and thought leaders from the venture capital community, government & policy, and talented entrepreneurs all for the purpose of minority development in New Media.
The New ME Conference will be a think tank of the best and brightest.
