We've got almost everything a start-up management consulting firm needs, except for a logo and a standard set of colors to use on our marketing material.
the parkville management group
Yes, the company name is meant to be in lower case! We project an image of being safe & reliable, but need to emphasis our difference: we are not bound up in rigid methodologies, and believe that the simplest solution to a client's problems is normally the best one. Most of our work comes via referrals, and our existing clients describe us as having great relationship skills (ie, we actually listen to what they want!) and having innovative yet simple ideas and approaches.
A recent example: we were called in by a client to help them get a project back on the rails. When we reviewed the business case for this $30M project, we noticed that over 90% of the benefits came from something that would cost less than $1M to implement. We pointed this out to our client, and helped them refocus the project on that one thing. The end result was that our client now has an operational system that will save them millions each and every year, instead of a behemoth of a project that might never finish, but would almost certainly never provide pay back.
So, that's us...
- A logo that reflects professionism, reliability, trust
- Simplicity is key: understated without being bland
- "the parkville management group" is in lower case. The founder is a fan of e.e.cummings.
- A simple, soothing set of colors
- Glitzy colors, etc: yech.
