I am Russell, and I've recently started a new Personal Training Business. What sets me apart from other PTs is a very strong IT background. I will be providing a service which draws on my computer/web programming skills to give each client a modern, more up-to-date method of showing fitness results in an effort to keep people more motivated to reach their goals.
I train, not only in a gym, but also provide "mobile" personal training services which means I travel to clients and use their local park or even backyard to train them. I've also set up a studio gym in my own home which I will also use to train people.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Initially, my target audience will be quite general. However, like most Personal Trainers, I anticipate my target audience will be those who are overweight.
I'd also like to pay particular attention to computer workers. Having spent 12 years of my own life sitting at a computer desk every day, I believe I have a communication advantage over other PTs who, in my experience, are more likely to be very sport oriented and less understanding of the office lifestyle.
Before I start throwing out my thoughts here I am very open to new ideas and if you can think of anything that would be better suited to what I've typed above, then feel free to think outside the square.
I think the most important message I'm looking to present with my logo is that fitness is energetic, fun, healthy etc. I'd like to try to avoid cliche fitness symbols if possible (dumb bells, running man silhouette) and try to represent fitness in a new way. I need to be sure that whatever logo I go with encourages ANYONE to come to me for their training.
I'm picturing a more cartoon type logo which some kind of (animal?) mascot looking like it's having fun training. You can use the full title of "Russell Wood Training" or if you can think of something fancy with the letters "RWT" (As long as the full title appears somewhere on the logo)
The logo will be used for a website, and also for the uniform.
I'll leave it at that for now but be sure to check feedback for logos as I will be giving plenty of feedback to everyone!
