I'm looking for a logo to use on my website (http://pixelcounter.co.uk) as well as in emails, on stationary, business cards etc.
I'm an indie web developer (although without a whole lot of design skills!) specialising in pixel-perfect front end website development.
I will, of course, leave every designer feedback as quickly as possible once it's been submitted. This won't be one of those compeitions where you submit a design only to hear nothing at all back from the CH at all. I'm very approachable so if you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask.
Generally small businesses and start-ups looking for web development, as well as other web developers and designers looking for tips and advice. These types of peopel are looking for a clean and professional impression from the logo.
The name is PixelCounter (it can be two seperate words or camel case as best fits your design ideals), and the tag line is 'Indie web development'.
The logo should ideally be clean/modern and professional without looking altogether too formal. Have a look around the website to get a feel, the logo should sit right at home at the top of those pages and be suitable for use in print as well (such as invoices and business cards).
The website is quite new so the logo on there at the moment is a very old one that I never intended to actually use, that's why I need a better, nicer one from you!
Ideally the logo should also incorporate the nature of pixel counting in some way or another. I realise that as a brief this is a little loose and non-specific but that's because I want to leave it up to you - I'm open to any ideas you may have (feel free to contact me if you want to discuss them before doing any design work) and I want to avoid cramping anyone's creative ideas with rigid guidelines.
