Our software caters to small businesses in the promotions industry - embroidery shops, screen printers, trophy shops. It is a database application, designed to help them manage their business. The first version of our software is almost ready for sale, and we need something impressive looking to help sell it.
Our target audience is going to be owners of small businesses. They are mostly going to be very busy people (not sure if this changes anything).
We would like the logo to kind of fit in with the graphics we already have. We had a graphic designer help us with the icons we use in the application, but she can no longer do any work for us. She picked a cartoony (yet still professional) look for our software. Examples of this can be seen at:
http://www.decezy.com/DecEzy_Main_Menu.png - the main menu of our application

We also have a by-line - "Promotions Business Management" that we are thinking on having on our logo (small, to say what our software does). We arnt sure if we really want this, so if we could have two versions - one with the by-line, and one without, that would be great.
---- EDIT ----
I am not sure exactly how 99designs works - if you are only able to submit one logo, make it without the tag-line. (Having both with and without would be an advantage).
Also, I have uploaded the two images also, in case our website has problems.
--- EDIT 2 ---
The name "DecEzy" comes from the words "Decoration" and "Easy" put together (and spelt differently). I'm not sure if this was obvious, or if it will effect the logos, but I thought I clear on this.
