The logo is for a website and newsletter to small and medium size retailers to help them compete against big business.
We want to help them CRUSH, DESTROY, etc big business.
For the logo design,
- I want something playful with some depth in the logo. Not a 2D flat image. I've attached a silly logo with a frankenstein character to drive home with you how I want the logo to feel. I also liked the "Snap" logo because it somewhat melds the text and the images.
- I want to see some sort of building in the logo (either just a big box square and boring store) or a small business storefront beside a huge big box store (think disney Pixar's movie Up with the small house beside the huge development).
- Logo lettering: I cannot imagine this working without capitalizing the 'B's in Beat the Big Box. Feel free to do what works. I've attached a picture a dumptruck with lettering, so don't feel like you have to have the lettering outside the imagery.
Other images: I attached the Urban Ground logo because I liked the idea of those letters. I imagined a big box and small retailer side by side errected beside the lettering, so it looked like the lettering was almost a street. I attached the other image with the house to drive home the need to at least angle the building. I do not want flat images.
Have fun! This isn't a boring corporate finance logo.
