Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
TextbookRebellion.org is a student inspired initiative that has arisen from a severe frustration with overpriced textbooks in higher education. Our mission is to rally college students and professors alike in protesting these prices and the unsustainable practices of the "textbook industry." The focus of TextbookRebellion.org is not to solely expose the textbook industry, but also to bring change. We are backed by a leading on-line publisher that offers open textbooks that are either totally free or highly affordable. College students should have the freedom to learn and express themselves when, where, and how they want.

The audience will be primarily college students but will also extend to professors. TextbookRebellion.org is for anyone who is fed up with buying ridiculously overpriced textbooks. We want the logo to appeal to college students around the world, so think youthful but not juvenile.
We are looking for an edgy logo that represents our rebellious but constructive mission - one that is passionate, smart, and fresh. We want a logo that can be localized and altered by students at their individual campuses and one that works well over social media. We want a logo that college students would be attracted to - avoid corny fonts and overly colorful animations (around three colors, not ten). Make it legible and not ridiculously over the top.
Open to all students of graphic design! Because we are a website created to help students, we want to see what creative logos students come up with. So, as a college student, make something that you love!
