Oregon Spirit Distillers
Oregon Spirit Distillers is the first distillery in Bend, Oregon. We produce Vodka, Whiskey, Absinthe and Liqueurs. Our products are unique, local and sustainable (and really good). Our whiskey is bold because we like it that way.
We deliberately want to be identified with Oregon. We consider ourselves to be mavericks. We feel Oregon was one of the last western states and still remembers its wild west days. We want people to associate us with a pre-prohibition, old time saloon brought into modern day. We can ride horses (we don't but we could if we wanted to). We like spurs, barbed wire, wagon wheels, wheat and rye.
We are artists. We have great water and lots of sunshine. We buy our grain locally. We grind it ourselves. We mash it and distill it by hand.
We are a family of two adults, two kids and two corgis. We play poker and bridge.
We are not afraid to be bold and unique.
We like a little sexy flair but think the mud flap girl is trashy.
The people who purchase our products are over 21.
Our price points are all mid-shelf. People who drink our booze appreciate quality but are happy to have something they can drink everyday. They don't have to drink every day but they could afford to.
We are looking for a logo and corporate identity.
We want something western, hip not hick.
We are a little concerned that "OSD" may sound like a disorder...probably mental. So, we don't want to see our initials as our logo.
We want people to call us "Oregon Spirit"
Would probably want the "O" in Oregon to be really, really awesome so that we could possibly use it as a stand alone image. Maybe made out of barbed wire or ?
We have used playing cards in some of our label designs and like the colors of the face cards. Blue, black, yellow (please no green and yellow together)
