We are targeting the Washington DC market of federal contractors. Our potential clients include large and small companies serving the civilian, Department of Defense (DoD), and intelligence sectors within the Federal government.
Our target audience includes small business owners, business developers, proposal managers, project managers - usually at the executive level - in companies doing business with the Federal government. Examples of large businesses include Lockheed Martin, IBM, SRA, SAIC, Calibre, HP, etc. We also serve small businesses and start-ups.
Culturally, the large businesses are very conservative and consist of people with >20 years experience - former government workers who have retired or industry personnel who have advanced in their careers. The small businesses are usually innovative but still very conservative in their decision-making. They are usually making a big decision when they choose to bring me on. Often it requires an executive team discussion and decision.
