Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Golden State is a clothing company based in Los Angeles, California. We have created what we think is the perfect hoodie which represents the casual, effortless and chic lifestyle of Southern California locals. Our brand targets modern women ages 16 - 50 who are looking for a sweatshirt that is comfortable and stylish that can be worn to the gym, to school, to the beach and all day while looking and feeling totally LA cool. (Price point: $85-125 each)

Our brand "Golden State" comes from California's official state nickname. We want our logo to represent the sunny ("golden"), beachy and easy California lifestyle. Think colors of the sunset, the sand, the sun, the ocean. We gravitate toward a more old school/vintage vibe yet want a modern twist. We like the idea of a type-centric logo with a smaller icon within or with it so the typeface needs to be just right. We've attached several images that inspire us to be used as part of your inspiration/creative process. Think "Sun" - We see more "sun" as our icon and possibly with a wave, not necessarily a palm tree even though there are palm trees in the images we've attached.
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the logo and hosted website?
Let's start with the logo and we'll get back to this...

Home page: We want the logo to be large and centered. We aren't sure whether to use the gold logo or the orange logo - can you show both ways? We want a large photo below like you have. Please see the new additions to the brief inspiration photos for reference and use them on the site (they are place holders but you can see the type of photo we are looking for and the filter on the photos). We want the pictures to look like you took them on a Polaroid or something. Our favorite of these is the first one with all of the palm trees.
